Lovely double decker coach, time in Hallstatt was a bit excessive given the size of the place (we were there 2.5 hours and it really was just a small village), could have done with half an hour less on the tour, it would not have detracted from it. “We had the best day with our guide Michael Hallstatt! The weather was perfect. He took us past some beautiful scenery and photo ops then we went to 5 Fingers which was amazing. You can spend hours there- lots of walking though so if that is not your thing you may want to rethink that stop. Hallstatt was picture perfect and we had a fabulous lunch at a restaurant on the lake - Michael got us a VIP seat right in the dock of the lake. Definitely worth the money to have a private tour.
